As the premiere for Lana Del Rey’s short film ‘Tropico’ gets nearer and nearer, the singer has taken to Twitter to call the film a ‘farewell project’.
‘Tropico’, which has already been revealed to be a “tale of redemption to the music of Body Electric, Gods and Monsters and Bel Air” will also be seen to feature the poetry of Walt Whitman.
Many people are speculating as to what the Summertime Sadness singer means when referring to Tropico as a ‘farewell project’, with many questioning whether she is leaving music for film or if it just the end to the Born to Die era and moving on to different projects.
Although no release date has been confirmed as of yet, the short film will premiere at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and also in New York City.
